With a five-octave voice, Rebecca has been enjoying the gypsy life of an actor, "since I first saw a one woman show about Billie Holiday.  I knew then I wanted to be in the theater" she said.
A former jazz singer who also enjoys singing "classical, Sara Brightman-type music,"   Young toured and sang with a rock band, The Young Californians, later with a band Stratus Fraction and Rebecca Young and Boomstown, and won a prize at the 'du Maurier Search for Stars' national talent competition.
Rebecca Young currently is on the road doing Judy Garland to standing ovations.  She does a lot of shows with Legends in Concert and sings at conventions.
